On September 27-30, 2018, TLOD took Las Vegas, Nevada by storm. Over 300 Ladies, Lords and Guests con-
vened at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino. Thanks to Lady Carrie Peery and the Starlight Chapter for acting as
gracious hostesses and making sure that everyone enjoyed their stay. Now on to the recap:

Thursday, September 27, 2018
The afternoon started off with the "Chapter Operations the TLOD Way: This is How We Do It!" Workshops.
Workshops included:
• Leading the Way: Chapter Operations from A-Z
• Pointers for Managing a Successful Chapter
• Ready to Serve: The Duties of Officers and Committee Chairmen
• National Programs: Building the Bridge to a Dynamic Organization through Program Excellence
• National Projects: Bridging the Gap with other Organizations
• Chapter Finance Readiness
• Keys to the TLOD Website

Presenters were: Ladies Drema Lee Woldman, Peggy Lewis LeCompte, Stephanie Dunn, Sharon Beard,
Eddie Lee Marsh, Vynessa Alexander and Natasha Goode. Kudos to each presenter for a job well done.

In addition, the TTA Advisor's Institute was conducted concurrently with the Chapter Operations Workshops.
Workshops included:
• The Do's and Don'ts of a Top Teens Advisor
• The "Why" and "How" of Service Points
• Requirements for Office and Training
• Preparing and Making Committee Reports
• Staying "In Touch": Embracing Modes of Communication and Technology
• Enabling Top Teens to Effectively Plan and Implement Momentum
• Keys for Participating and Excelling During Competitions
• The Mock TTA Chapter Meeting from Beginning to End
