Teen Jasmine Thompson
Area III TTA President
reetings to all Ladies, Lords, and Teens,
It is an honor to address you all on behalf of the Area III Top T e e n s
of America Executive Board in the Top Teens of America
Voice Newsletter. On behalf of the Area III Executive Board, it
is hope the material presented in this newsletter is enjoyed and
appreciated by all.
It has been an honor to be the Area III President as it is now the latter term of
office. Throughout the time as Area III President, there was a successful Area III
Conference this pass March, that highlighted the great talents of the Teens of Area
III through many activities, such as the talent show, as well as the continued growth
of Area III, despite the class of 2018 starting the next chapter in their lives outside
of Top Teens of America.
On behalf of the Area III Executive Board, much gratitude goes out to those that
spent copious amount of time to make sure the greatness and excellence of the
various Areas within Top Teens of America are highlighted and celebrated. Again,
it is an honor to address everyone on behalf of the Area III Top Teens of America
Executive Board, and we hope everyone enjoys the Top Teens of
America Voice Newsletter.
With Service to the Area III Top Teens,
Teen Jasmine Thompson, Area III President
(Evergreen Park Chicago Chapter)
Lady Catherine Miles
Area III TTA Advisor
Thank you to Chapter Advisors of this area that “Embraced the
Vision of Working as a Team” during the past three and a half years.
Your work with Top Teens of America is appreciated!
Attendance at the Area III Leadership Conference for Top Teens has
increased each year. Registration has been 158, 168 and 205. More
TTA are expected in St. Louis for the upcoming conference for the
conclusion of the work of this leadership opportunity.
Area III chapters include Cardinal, Chicago, Confluence, East St.
Louis, Ebony, Evergreen Park Chicago, Lincoln Park Chicago,
Midway, Chicago, Milwaukee, North Shore Chicago, St. Louis,
Skyline Metropolitan Chicago, South Suburban Chicago, West Suburban Chicago and Will County Black Diamond Chapters.
All chapters have increased their memberships with Inductions, because of the love and guidance shown for the youth by the
Chapter Advisor and Service to Youth Committees. This is evident with the support for the North Cluster Retreat, hosted by
the Milwaukee Chapters, October 13, 2018. 113 Top Teens and 98 Top Ladies were registered for the retreat. Workshops were
Teen-centered and interactive, enhanced with door prizes. Presenters were well received. 2, 933 food items were donated for the
Blessings in a Backpack to Keefe Avenue School, for its Food Pantry.
National President Teen Benjamin Chapman (Lincoln Park Chicago), Area III President Teen Jasmine Thompson (Evergreen
Park Chicago) and most of the Area III Executive Board participated in the retreat.
