Skyline Metropolitan Chicago Chapter Hosts Annual Fashion
Show & Luncheon Fundraiser
On February 25, 2017 the Top Ladies of Distinction Skyline Metropolitan Chicago
Chapter hosted their annual Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Doubletree hotel in
Alsip, IL. Guests and Top Ladies wore red to this sold-out event, showing their support
for Heart Awareness Month. The afternoon began with a shopping extravaganza from
local vendors selling a variety of unique gifts, apparel and art. The event kicked off with
a plated lunch, topped with the melodic sounds of singer Kevin Catchings serenading the
crowd of ladies as lunch was served. The showcase of extravagant fashions was
provided by Polk Entertainment and the colorful commentary from returning Mistress of
Ceremonies, Mrs. Deborah Kimball-Crosslin. Funds raised will help provide college
scholarships for the chapter’s graduating seniors of Top Teens of America and other
program thrusts. Top Ladies should mark their calendars for next year’s event
scheduled for February 17, 2018.
