 Replacement of worn-out contact wire:

In BPA jurisdiction between the locations 241/22-242/25, the 960 mts of worn-
out contact wire (one TL) has been replaced, due to dia of the contact wire
reduced to 8.25 mm. As per railway board norm it should be more than 8.25
mm.

 Provision of long creeping composite insulators:
Long creep age composite insulators were provided in stone pelting areas in
bonakallu (BKL) section and polluted areas in Sanath Nagar section in the

division to avoid the breakage of insulators and CB trippings. 31 no’s Long
creepage composite insulators are replaced

 Provision of Sigma Boards ahead of STOP Signals:

To assist Loco pilots for easily identifying
the STOP signals during foggy weather
conditions, Division has taken up the work
of provision of Retro reflective SIGMA
boards, ahead of the STOP signals.
