1.6.1. MAINTENANCE OF SERVICE / RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS
Maintenance of service & residential buildings is one of the key areas of
attention. The following good maintenance practices have been adopted in
the division:

Maintenance of service & residential buildings is one of the key areas of
attention. The following good maintenance practices have been adopted in
the division:
Planning, inspection and maintenance of service buildings and staff
quarters under DBM (Directed Building Maintenance)
Maintenance of sanitary and hygienic conditions in station buildings,
Yards and Railway colonies.
Colony inspection meetings are being held regularly and minutes of the
meeting are attended to, promptly.
Rodent control measures have been taken at SC, HYB, KZJ, DKJ, WL, RDM
and MCI stations. Rag picking work is being done in MMTS stations i.e.
between LPI to SC and MLY, CHZ-PGDP and KZJ yard.
