                                                                                   Cheryl Jacobs, R.N., M.S.N., has been a registered nurse
                                                                                  for over 24 years with 11 years in various nursing leader-
                                                                                  ship roles. Cheryl is currently serving as the Interim Chief
                                                                                  Nursing Officer at Palmetto General Hospital where she
                                                                                  has worked since August of 2015. In her current role,
                                                                                  Cheryl has multiple nursing operational responsibilities
                                                                                  but her concentrated focus has been on understanding and
                                                                                  improving the patient’s hospital experience.  Cheryl has
                                                                                  maintained her passion for patient experience at Palmetto
                                                                                  General while serving as chair of the Patient Experience
                                                                                  Team. Jacobs recognizes the impact each and every health-
                                                                                  care team member has on influencing compassionate care at the patient bedside.
                                                                                   Cheryl attended Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, earned her Bachelor
                                                                                  of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University, her Master’s in Nursing
                                                                                  Leadership and Administration from Florida Atlantic University, and is currently pursu-
