Palms West Hospital Welcomes
New Chief Executive Officer

Palms West Hospital is pleased to announce that Bland
Eng has joined the hospital as Chief Executive Officer.
Bland comes to Palms West Hospital from an affiliate HCA
facility, Lake City Medical Center in Northern Florida,
where he was the Chief Executive Officer since 2005.
Bland has over 16 years of healthcare experience and has
been with HCA for the past 12 years. Prior to moving to
Lake City, Bland was Chief Operating Officer at Central
Florida Regional Hospital and served in various positions Bland Eng
at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center.

The Board of Commissioners for the North Broward
Hospital District at their regular board meeting elected
new officers to serve through October 2008.
