Ram Lalla idol unveiled a er PM Modi leads ‘Pran
Pra shtha’ ceremony
Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over
the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony at the
Ayodhya Ram Mandir, marking a significant
milestone in India's cultural and religious
history. This event has captured the attention
not only of the nation but also of global
audiences.
Situated on 2.7 acres of land in the temple
town, the Ram temple stands as a testament
to architectural brilliance. Soaring to a height
of 161 feet, with a width of 235 feet and a total
length of 360 feet, the temple is a
masterpiece constructed in the distinguished
Nagara style, one of the two ancient temple-
building styles in India. It meticulously follows Vedic rituals while seamlessly incorporating modern
technology. The built-up area spans nearly 57,000 square feet, constituting a three-floor structure that
reaches about 70% of the height of the iconic Qutub Minar.
The day commenced with a morning puja, followed by the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in ‘Mrigashira
Nakshatra.’ The ceremony was
graced by the presence of PM
Narendra Modi, Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh chief
Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh
governor Anandiben Patel, and
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,
among other dignitaries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is
scheduled to address a gathering
of over 7,000 individuals,
including seers and distinguished
personalities.
The consecration sets the stage
for the public opening of the Ram
Temple a day later.
