COMPONENTS OF WORD 2013

Let's get familiar with the MS Word 2013 interface.

MS Word Ribbon
MS Word interface has a ribbon on the top of the window. A ribbon consists

of tabs and these tabs are further divided into groups. Let's learn about the

groups present on Home tab.

1. Clipboard Group

This group contains :

(i) Paste option (ii) Cut option

(iii) Copy option (iv) Format Painter option

2. Font Group
This group contains :

(i) Font type (ii) Font size
(iii) Color of Fonts (iv) Formatting of fonts

3. Paragraph Group

This group contains :

(i) Adding bullets or numbers to text

(ii) Paragraph setting

(iii) Shading of background

(iv) Giving space between lines

(v) Borders
