62. Getting a Bright Start in Branding: Using Three-
    Dimensional Displays Integrated with a Sales Presentation

           S ometimes a brochure just isn’t
                                                                               enough to get your brand
                                                                               noticed. That’s why Bright Starts,
                                                                       maker of baby toys, didn’t just go out-
                                                                       side of the box—it recreated the box—
                                                                       for its Brand Essence Toolbox. The
                                                                       Toolbox needed to effectively integrate
                                                                       the five brands that fall under Bright
                                                                       Starts. The pop-up board represents
                                                                       Bright Starts as the foundation, and
                              the three stacking blocks are used to represent the technology, palettes,
                              textiles, and characters of each brand. The Toolbox is used in retail pre-
                              sentations and to share with distributors. A presenter talks through each
                              piece and stacks them, one on top of the other, and at the end of the
                              presentation has demonstrated the building blocks of the brand.
