62. Getting a Bright Start in Branding: Using Three-
Dimensional Displays Integrated with a Sales Presentation
S ometimes a brochure just isn’t
enough to get your brand
noticed. That’s why Bright Starts,
maker of baby toys, didn’t just go out-
side of the box—it recreated the box—
for its Brand Essence Toolbox. The
Toolbox needed to effectively integrate
the five brands that fall under Bright
Starts. The pop-up board represents
Bright Starts as the foundation, and
the three stacking blocks are used to represent the technology, palettes,
textiles, and characters of each brand. The Toolbox is used in retail pre-
sentations and to share with distributors. A presenter talks through each
piece and stacks them, one on top of the other, and at the end of the
presentation has demonstrated the building blocks of the brand.
