Launch a broadband Internet news bulletin that would
feature a well-known television newsreader but could
also be personalised by the viewer. Visitors to the
bulletin’s website would be invited to type their own
personal news, such as birth or marriage announcements
into a text-to-speech engine to create their own unique
244clip, which they could send to friends.The actual news
headlines of the day would open the bulletin, before the
newsreader added, ‘And finally...’
