Launch a new snack food range called ‘Forkfuls’. The
products would comprise frozen mouthfuls of
foodstuffs such as steak and kidney pie or lasagne with
forks already inserted into them. The forks would be
inexpensive and microwave proof such that the snacks
could be taken directly from the freezer, heated up and

we surprised
ourselves with this
social and political
idea. It does actually
seem to be both well

intentioned and

386workable.
Offer any young person due to turn 18 during the term
of an elected government the opportunity to vote on
their birthday. Although their vote would not
technically make a difference it could be reported on a
website and would reflect the prevailing mood of a
country’s youth on any given day. The birthday poll
would also focus young people on political issues and

remind them of the power now vested in them.
