80 Using the facsimile to sell directly to other
businesses

The facsimile is an excellent way to spread your message.
We are all conditioned to believe that any message that
comes across the facsimile is important. Do you race over
to check it out as soon as the machine rings?

Make up a simple flyer or perhaps you can fax through
your company brochure. Make sure that whatever you are
sending is easy to read and be certain that it will fax clearly
(either fax a copy to a friend or copy the flyer first just
to make certain). There is nothing worse than getting a
30-page facsimile or one that you cannot read.

Use the facsimile to tell the world about your business,
coming specials and new products. The next time you are
sitting behind the counter and things are quiet, get on the
fax machine and go crazy. For a few dollars you can fax a
lot of people and the response to fax campaigns can be
quite high.
