    (Note: Two examples of online “knowledge exchanges” are
    www.pals.co.uk and www.palsZenith.com where peers and
    subject experts can come together to exchange ideas to
    build an international knowledge community committed to
    sharing and enhancing global best practice.)

16.Could we claim that we have enabled our people at every
    level to develop and use dynamic, agile, timely and adaptive
    “sense and respond” capabilities?

17.Have we enabled the empowerment of our people within a
    fully understood framework and with due consideration of
    their maturity and capabilities?

18.Are our processes making full use of knowledge based
    engineering?

19.Are our people constantly producing and sharing new
    knowledge relevant to the needs of the business?

20.Are we better at managing intangible assets such as brands,
    reputation, image and customer loyalty than competition?

21.Do we nurture working teams committed to “working”
    rather than “warring” competition?

22.Are all our people committed to “life-long learning just-in-
    time”? (Are they devoted to the application, testing and
    sharing of learning?)

23.Are our teams adaptable enough to avoid becoming victims
    of their own success? (We have the formula and it’s always
    worked, so why consider change?)

24.Is our practised leadership style appropriate and the
    reasoning behind it understood by our people?
