Using Call-to-
Action Overlays on
Your Videos

Throughout this book, I’ve stressed that there’s no way to
directly link from a video to your own website. That’s
true—with one very important exception.
That exception is something called a Call-to-Action
Overlay, which you can add only to a Promoted Video.
That’s right, advertising a video has the added benefit of
being able to link that video to your own website, outside
of the YouTube universe.
