Page 5 - ACROSS THE HEART CONTINUALLY
P. 5
What he did to the Egyptian army to its horses and chariots how he overwhelmed them with the
waters of the Red Sea as they were pursuing you and how the lord brought lasting ruin on therm.
Obedience Commanded:-
[Deut. 4:1]
Here now O Israel the decrees and laws so that you may live and may go in and take possession
of the land that lord the God of your fathers is giving you.
Egypt:-
[Ex. 4:22]
And you shall say unto Pharaoh, “Thus says the lord, Israel is my son even my firstborn”
Pharaoh would understand this testimony fully for he himself was called “son of Ra’.
Moses and Joshua:-
[Num. 27:21]
And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest who shall ask counsel for him after the judgment of
Urim before the lord.
Urim and Thummim of Ex. 28:30 and Lev. 8:8.
[Ex. 28:30]
And you shall put on the Breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim and they shall be
upon Aaron’s heart when he goes in before the lord. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the
children of Israel upon his heart before the lord [continually].
There was a pocket of sorts in the back of the Breastplate next to Aaron’s heart where was kept
the Urim and Thummim. The first word means “Light” while the second means “Perfections”. So
we must conclude that the judgments rendered would be “perfect”.
