PROJECT SHOW OF CLASS II-

CELEBRATING TOGETHERNESS

Mata Jai Kaur Public School, Ashok Vihar presented the virtual Project Show of class
II – ‘Celebrating Togetherness’ on 26 September 2020.

Keeping up with the tradition of the school, the show started with a pious shabad

followed by the lamp lighting ceremony. In her welcome address, the Principal, Ms.
Rashmi Mehta, shared that how in a short span of time, we have been able to
synergize our energies/resources to act collectively in order to provide best

educational opportunities to our students. She also elucidated experiential learning,
interdisciplinary thoughts, gender sensitivity and skill set as important highlights of
the New Education policy and that as school, we are ready to adapt it whole
heartedly. Maa Saraswati’s blessings were invoked with a graceful dance
performance on Saraswati Vandana. The story enactments – ‘Golden Memories’ and

‘Ruparam and his Saafa’ were woven around the theme of togetherness and
fellowship. The importance and benefits of playing Indian traditional games were
depicted through the presentation ‘Khel Khel Mein' wherein the students enjoyed

playing traditional games with their parents and grandparents. The astounding
presentation on ‘Art Integration’ showcased how art has been an integral part of the
school curriculum, which fosters creativity and facilitates easy conceptualization.
The Guest of Honour shared some of his cherished memories at school and urged

the audience on spending quality time with children. He summed up by
congratulating the teachers, parents and students in putting up a successful show.
The Headmistress of the school, Ms. Anuradha Babbar delivered a heartfelt vote of

thanks.
