CHILDREN’S DAY
CELEBRATION
Children’s Day is full of fun and laughter at MJKPS. Just like every other celebration conducted virtually,
this day was also held with surprises and exhilaration especially meant for students. A combined
presentation was prepared by the teachers to express their love and admiration for all the children. There
were special heartfelt messages from the school management, principal as well as the headmistress to
cheer everyone up. From their mantra of staying fit at home to telling stories, dance performance and a
recollection of students’ time in the school last year, teachers put in their best foot forward in making our
Jai Kaurians day worth remembering. A special assembly was also conducted by the second graders to
mark the occasion.
VIRTUAL WALKTHROUGHS
The idea of travelling and exploring for rejuvenation was like an impossible dream in the time of
pandemic but the primary students of MJKPS made the best out of it by taking virtual tours to
different places. Being confined to the safety of their homes for almost a year now, they missed
their school the most. Hence, a school tour was organised for them to reminisce the days they had
spent in their second home. Learning and fun go hand in hand for students. They were taught about
various types of plants-herbs, shrubs and creepers grown in the school nursery. It filled them with
excitement and nostalgia at the same time. Students of class-3 were also opportune to take a
virtual kitchen tour to learn about the kitchen appliances and their use in preparing different
dishes. During the Science week, class-1-5 students were thrilled with the virtual tour to space
station with Sunita Williams. Class-4 students saw some of the endangered species like koalas
and pandas in their virtual tour to San Diego Zoo. These tours enlivened their spirit of learning and
filled them with positivity.
