KRMR Railway Board has intrusted the subject KRMR
site to RLDA on 22.10.2010 for development of
multi-functional complex. Subsequently RLDA
had issued letter of acceptance to Sri.
Manoranjana sinh on 1.9.2014 for development
of MFC for 45 year lease period. However,
request from RLDA is not received for handing
over the subject land.

5. Provision of the second entry to Karimnagar Railway Station is NSG-5 station
the station. with an average foot fall of 1396 per day (pre-
Covid-19). KRMR is a 4 line station with only
one high level passenger platform. All the
passenger carrying trains are dealt on PF.No-1
side only. Provision of second entry is possible
only from Goods platform side which will cause
hindrance to passengers where there will be
frequent movement of lorries in and out to

Goods Yard.

7. Beautification works in A work has been proposed under umbrella
Karimnagar, Jammikunta, works for modification of station building,
Bisgurisharef and Uppal Railway circulating area, Flag Pedestal, gardens and
stations landscaping at Karimnagar Railway Station.
Jammikunta, Bisgurisharef and Uppal Railway
stations: Beautification works completed.
Jammikunta, Bisgurishereef and Uppal Railway
stations are NSG-6 Category stations in Kazipet-
Balharsha Section.
Improvement/beautification works are in
progress as part of 3rd line works in progress
by Construction Organisation.
8. Remarks: Karimnagar is a NSG-5 category
Station. All amenities are required as per norms
