3.2. BRIDGE
3.2.1. DESTRESSED GIRDER BRIDGE:
Destressed Girder Bridge no 71 of 1*12.00m span was rebuilt by
providing two spans of 4.275*6m (insitu) by removing girder and track
linking is done.
3.2.2. RELEASE OF STREEES IN ELASTOMERIC BEARINGS OF PSC
GIRDERS:
During installation of elastomeric bearings, they got distorted due to
external stresses. The same needs to be relieved for the better
performancve of girder. And the same is done at br no 77 by lifting
girder using jacks at mean temperature.
