Gosh, no. If you’re just going to read it to them, you’re probably wasting their time.

You’re inviting people to turn their attention elsewhere, thinking they have all the
information they need and can read it later.

One of our clients used to have two slide decks. The presentation deck, which he
showed in the virtual meeting room, had much less text than the second deck. It
presented information with limited text and many graphics. The takeaway deck was
packed with notes, and offered for download at the end of the virtual session as a
reference tool.
