         Condolences to:
                         The family and friends of Dr. Walter Strubel on his passing at the age of 93.  Dr. Strubel was
                         a member of NCDS for 63 years!  A graduate of NYU Dental School, he served in the Army
                         Dental Corps in Germany from 1956-58. Upon returning he opened his private practice in
                         South Farmingdale where he practiced for 40 years as well as taught at the Hygiene School
                         at SUNY Farmingdale.  Besides the NCDS, Dr. Strubel was a member  of Kiwanis,  the  Farm-
                         ingdale  Planning  Board  and Church  Council  at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Farmingdale.
                         He enjoyed traveling and fishing and was married to his wife Norma for 70 years. They had
                         three children, seven grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
