Mets Tickets Winner!

Congratulations to NCDS member Dr. Roula Panas from Syosset as the

winner of our Mets tickets raffle during GLIDM and our May 1 General
Membership Meeting. The raffle raised money for our GKAS 2024
event. Thank you to all who entered! Dr. Panas received 2 tickets

behind home plate to the June 3 Hall of Fame game at Citi Field to

watch the Mets take on the Toronto Blue Jays. The seats included
mobile food ordering and delivery, as well as access to the Delta Club
and were graciously donated by our President-Elect, Dr. Doug
Schildhaus. Unfortunately, Dr. Panas was unable to attend the game
herself, so she gave the tickets to fellow NCDS member Dr. Jackie
Sobota of Manhasset. Dr. Sobota and her friend, Laura Marino sent us
the picture to the right saying: “Thank you so much for the tickets!! The
seats were amazing, and we had a great time!” NCDS member Dr. Jackie Sobota and Laura
Marino enjoying their day at Citi Field.

Flying Doctors of America, Team Peru 2023.

NCDS President-Elect, Dr. Doug Schildhaus was the Team Leader on a Medical/ Dental Mission to the Andes
Mountains of Peru from May 6-12, 2023. His team of Physicians, Dentists, Nurses, and Healthcare
Personnel, treated over 1000 patients in need of care in the mountain communities of Huaro and
Sullumayo, Peru. In addition, they provided much needed medications, vitamins, and healthcare education
to those in need. After the mission, Dr. Schildhaus took the team sightseeing, which included the famed
Wonder of the World, Machu Picchu. A true-life changing experience for all.
