General Membership Meeting on May 1, 2023
Our second General Membership Meeting of 2023 was held on May 1 at The Inn at New Hyde Park. Our
members heard Dr. Howard Golan give a lecture entitled “Transforming Dentistry Through Lasers” and were
treated to a great cocktail hour and plated dinner. Besides our normal raffle we sold special raffle tickets to
raise money for our Give Kids a Smile Event. The prize was two box seat tickets behind home plate at Citi
Field during the Hall of Fame Game to watch the NY Mets play the Toronto Blue Jays. Congratulations to Dr.
Roula Panas for winning the tickets. Unfortunately she wound up with a conflict so she gave the tickets to
another NCDS member, Dr. Jacqueline Sobota. We’d like to thank our sponsors for the evening: Biolase,
