In Our Society | 2026 President’s Gala

On January 31, 2026 we installed Dr. Maureen Tredwell as NCDS President along with line officers Dr.
Kathy Leibowitz (President-Elect), Dr. Ed Perlow (Vice President), Dr. John Gaeta (Secretary) and Dr. How-
ard Baylarian (Treasurer). Also during the event Dr. Gene Porcelli received the Herbert L. Taub Distin-
guished Service Award and Dr. David Grossman received the NCDS Humanitarian Award. Congratulations
to them all! We had 20 Dental Residents and 10 Dental Students in attendance thanks to the generosity
of the following individuals: Drs. Stephen Akseizer, Joseph Brofsky, Martin Dominger, James Fitzgerald,
Donald Hills, Katayoon Noroozi-Leibowitz, Edward Perlow, Barry Rozenberg, Douglas Schildhaus, and
Binod Verma. And thank you to our sponsors for the evening: Premier Endodontics of L.I., Landmark
