The Counselling team offer a safe, friendly

and confidential space to explore any difficult
Lead Counsellor thoughts or feelings which students may be
experiencing. Counsellors are not at liberty to
share what is discussed during counselling
sessions, unless they believe that the student
or someone else might be at serious risk.

Counsellor • Struggles with self-esteem,

Students can book a session directly with the
team and won’t need to provide any details
other than their name and year group.
Students can also be referred to the team by
Kamini Angel the Headmaster, Deputy Heads, Pastoral
Counsellor team, Heads of Year and Houseparents. The
vital part of the referral is that the student is
on board and willing to engage with the
counselling process and consistently attend
the sessions.
