HOW WILL THE SCHOLARSHIP FROM SKF HELP YOU? The Scholarship from the Southfield Kappa Foun-
dation will assist with my goal as a young adult with alleviating the cost of college from my parents to
become more fiscally independent.
ARE YOU WILLING TO COMEBACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER TO MOTIVATE OTHER
YOUNG BLACK STUDENTS? After college and receipt of my degree, I will remain focused and visible in
my community while remaining well rounded, self-motivated and a change agent. I will take what I
have learned and apply it to everyday life which will make me stronger. After college, I will be encour-
aged more than ever to make changes in young black students lives.
