There were many interesting subject stands and exhibitors who provided great information. This was a great opportunity for our students to help guide them with their future pathways.
One exhibitor was Helistar arriving in one of their helicopters, which was very exciting for all the students to watch as it landed. Two fortunate students won the draw for a helicopter ride and enjoyed a scenic flight, including beautiful views of Wallaroo’s coastline.
Harvest’s old scholar, Matt Tucker, showed students around the helicopter and discussed some of the training processes he had recently completed, as he continues to work towards his dream career as a commercial helicopter pilot. Harvest is considering adding a Helistar aviation course to our Senior school curricular and we are currently seeking expressions of interest.
