Kernewek Lowender
The Harvest community wholeheartedly embraces the significance of our heritage in the Copper Coast, and we enthusiastically engage in the festivities of the Kernewek Lowender celebrations. It has been a fun-filled week with students and staff dressed in period costumes. Our involvement encompassed various activities, such as organising traditional Kernewek Games for our Foundation to Year 3 students at Victoria Square in Kadina. Additionally, our Primary choir delivered a nice performance during the Dressing of the Graves ceremony, while we also arranged visits to the historic Moonta Mines school, allowing participants to relive school life from a bygone era. Furthermore,
we actively participated in the traditional Maypole and Furry Dance
