Another revision on RDET policies and guidelines (Incentives) was presented to the BOR for approval, and the said revision on
the Manual of Operation for Research and Development was accepted and approved by the Board of regents during the 222th
and223th Virtual BoardMeeting held onDecember11,2020.

Approved organizational structureof theResearchProgram

The organizational structure of the University R & D Services reflects how work is divided among officials and
managers and how positions and offices or units are delineated and related to one another. The relationship and work
assignmentsofthevarious stakeholdersarebrieflydescribedhereunder.

A. BoardofRegents
The Board of Regents (BOR), the policy-making body of the University, is the highest structure. The BORdecides the
direction the University (including R&D) should take. The Board sets the policies, plans, major programs and projects,
annualbudgets,budgetaryallocationsandapproveskeyR&Dappointmentsanddesignations.
