Day on 24 January, 2020 with unprecedented

enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. All the students
and staff of the school assembled in the auditorium
to pay tribute to our country and its ideals. Students
of Nursery-A presented a heartwarming skit
showcasing the power and importance of being
united. Emotions permeated in the atmosphere as
the students remembered the sacrifice of the
freedom fighters.
The students of class IV-A also presented a morning
assembly to commemorate the memorable day.
Through a powerful skit, they reminded the audience
about the sacrifices made to build the nation. The
thought of the day urged everyone to count their
blessings and not take for granted the principles of
Blessings Are All We Need Much Needed Motivation at the Onset of the Year freedom that enrich our lives. A play based on 'The
Constitutional Rights of the Citizens of India'
presented by the students of class VIII created
awareness among the young learners about their
rights and duties. On this auspicious occasion,
children took a pledge to be good citizens and
responsible humans.

“Republic Day is not just a day to celebrate
the smooth running of our country as a
democratic republic but also a day to
enthusiastically express patriotism, passion,
and love for the motherland that lies in
the heart of every Indian. We celebrated
this day with pride and zeal. The Pacificians
of grade IV prepared and presented a
special assembly to mark the occasion.
They enacted a short play on the theme
of patriotism, inspired by the movie
‘Kesari’. Energetic dances by the students
on patriotism transported us to a different
emotional state. Few students delivered
short speeches on the significance and
importance of Republic day.”

country. The skit presented by the
students of class VIII made me aware of
my rights and duties.
Principal Ma’am shared many interesting
facts from history and the making of our
constitution. We all learnt to respect the
sacrifice of our freedom fighters and
value the freedom we enjoy.”
