Cable fault locator is procured for identifying location of the fault in the UG cables for easy
attention and repairing.

 Occupancy Sensors: To attain the target of 5% reduction in energy consumption,
division is providing occupancy sensors in the chambers, corridors and toilets etc. Rail
Nilayam/SCR is targeted for 100% occupancy sensor provision. The details as on

FIRE PREVENTION MEASURES IN TL COACHES

 A comprehensive special drive has been carried out and all the supervisors from
Train lighting and Air Conditioning have carried out independent checks on stabled
coaches and a complete service rake after trip schedule.

The following Special Drives have been carried out on Fire Prevention measures in
Coaches during this Year from Jan-2019 to Nov-2019.
