Project Coordinator “Gruaja Hyjnore” - the “Divine Woman”, Kosovo*

The Association "The Divine Woman" is a non-profit organization,
established in January 2012 in Gjilan, while it started in 2010 with
mobilization. The purpose of establishing the center is to empower women
and advance their position in Kosovo society, through psychological
support social education, primary health education and medical prevention, raising awareness of
her rights and gender equality, raising the level of education, etc. Director of the NGO is Ms.
Igballe Hajdari. At the time of the Covid-19 that has gripped the world, it is worth mentioning how
I started organizing volunteers in Kosovo where they formed their group on Facebook. A close
working team of 17 people was created with the idea of Mr. Luan Hasanaj where they were divided
into several groups, some worked online, some compiled lists of people in need, some worked at
the Student Center, the professional health team, some in the field distributed aid, some donated
funds, some others sewed masks, distributed them, some donated food packages etc. these are
special features that Albanians possess came together to overcome the situation that gripped the
country should not be forgotten the Committee or emergency staffs formed by the Municipality
where the first to start is the Municipality of Gjilan model for other municipalities with
organization and concrete work in the field coming to the aid of citizens with all institutional actors
to stop in cities without distinction.
Message: “In fact, every one of our voluntary engagements in various activities and campaigns in
favor of the construction of the pyramid of our society is to build the habit that you need in life to
be in solidarity and comprehensive for the decision where you live for a better life and this is called
VALUE.”

* This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244/1999 and the ICJ opinion
on the Kosovo declaration of independence.
