was against it. The one who was supporting the bill believed that this
is a good thing, whereas the one who was against was of the opinion
that this was detrimental to the country’s economy. Both were trying

to shut each other up on social media by sharing articles and posts
from here and there. Their real knowledge on the topic was zilch;
both of them did not even know what GST was. When I asked both
of them to explain GST, they could not say more than two lines. The
problem is not whether you support GST or not, the problem lies in
you not knowing that a true debate takes place between two
knowledgeable persons.

If you do not have the knowledge you will always be afraid, feel
empty and be embarrassed while speaking in front of educated
people. You will have inferiority complex, or you will repeat what
others have said or written. You will not be able to generate an
original thought or express it. Your leadership ability will diminish,

you will get reduced to a follower, and you will not have any
existence whatsoever. You will always long for respect and
admiration in the society. Today, a lot of us have heard about GST,
but how many of us actually know about it? How many can say that
they can explain this properly, in detail? When you will ask them
whether it is good for the country or bad, everybody will give their
opinion, but nobody will have the courage to admit and say, “Sorry, I

do not know much about this, I will tell you once I get to know”.

The world today is not about people who know or people who are
ignorant; there is such a wide use of internet, mobile apps, social
media platforms, that news travels like wildfire and you get to know
about things sooner or later. The world today is full of people with

half knowledge, they just remain in touch with things, neither do they
try to understand things nor widen their thinking, but they are always
ready to preach lessons to others.

You will have to go away from this crowd; you will have to take each
and every step towards the best version of yourself. Build yourself,
increase your stature—your competitors will keep on losing their

ground. Your research and study should be so strong on any subject
