that clearing the exam would be a cakewalk. You were steady with
your decision, there was a different level of excitement in you, and
your dedication and determination were top-notch. Then why change
your decision now? Why get sad or tensed? Just because someone
close to you has said something which you do not like, are you really
going to give up on your dreams?
If someone says something wrong about you then you must not get
upset or angry. If he gets to know that it is easy to control your
emotional state he will deliberately provoke you. One day a man
asked a saint,” what is anger?” The saint smiled and replied, “It is a
punishment we give to ourselves, for somebody else’s mistake.”
Stop punishing yourself for what other people say.
Life is like a game of chess. You have to be the king of your world.
Petty people will try to take benefit of your short temper. They will
provoke you and try to show you in bad light. You have to believe
that you are the ‘King’ in the chess game and not the pawn.
Remember this: Wisdom dies when one gets angry. Your greatness
does not lie in replying to someone when they provoke you. You
preserve your dignity if you leave the place without saying a word.

will realise that you have unending energy and zeal for achieving big
things.
Another thing that you must understand and follow is that you should
not make too many friends. Having 2-3 good friends who care about
you and celebrate your success is all that you need. Build a
relationship only if you can sustain it. You must meet with your
friends, you must speak to them but you should not take too much
interest in their personal lives. If you delve deeper into their lives,
you will start comparing yourself to them. And if this happens your
friendship will get converted into an unnecessary competition and
you will start looking at your friends as competitors. You will then
want to have a better career and earn more than them. You will think
