4. When you feel qualified to do so, ask the instructor for
the Skill Check. (It’s a good idea, however, to read
through the entire module so that there won’t be any
terminology surprises.)
5. Work through the module at your own speed.
6. If you are not sure of your competence, complete all
the practice exercises. If you are still not sure, check
with the instructor.
7. The instructor will provide a sign-up sheet for those
modules that include group practice. Sign up for the
session most convenient for you.
Resources
1. There are at least three sources of information for each
module: the module itself, other students, and the
instructor. Additional resources may also be available.
If so, they are listed at the beginning of the module.
2. Consult any of the resources you think may help you,
but do not feel compelled to consult them all.
3. When resources are listed in a module, the relevant
page numbers are indicated. Feel free to read more
widely if you wish, but keep the module objective in
mind as you do.
4. Feel free to ask other students which resources they
found most helpful; provide the same information for
others if they ask.
5. Work with a colleague whenever you wish.
