2. Contractor Direct assignments: A contractor direct assignment is when the basic
scope of work is either not extensive, or where there is an already established
scope of work. These assignments can be completed much quicker because they
do not require a DCC site visit or home assessment. The majority of the home
modifications within the workers compensation industry fall in this category. The
same expertise provided in the catastrophic claims are applied to the simple claims
and the DCC fees on these assignments are very competitive when compared to
the alternative options.
