Deliverables and Timeline Objectives:
10-4 Objective
In order to reduce carrier cost and improve results for our clients, the David Corey
Company has established two key time-line standards. Both are designed to expedite the
home modification process for our most valued clients.
1. From the time we receive the assignment, our objective is to be on-site within ten
working days regardless of location or distance. In many instances we can be on-
site much sooner. Even though there are times when a homeowner is not available
and coordinating a date and time with multiple parties can be an issue, we are
committed to make ourselves available as soon as possible or within 10 working
days.
2. From the date of the site visit our objective is to have the full report completed
and to present our findings via our GoToMeeting conference call within 4 working
days of the site visit.
With the site visit completed, the report in hand and the conference call completed, the
carrier can make an informed decision and establish the appropriate scope of work. The
appropriate scope of work can then be used to obtain estimates.
Express Services Program
Although the David Corey Company is known primarily as a home modification provider
on catastrophic claims, we also provide the same services on simple home modification
assignments in two ways.
1. Express Services: The DCC Express Services provides “emergency” modifications
for those claims that are either last minute decisions or where the discharge date
happens before the long-term housing plans are established. While not all
modifications can be completed, there are many things that can be done on a
temporary basis to make the home partially accessible while permanent options
are considered. In many locations there are simple go-do things that can be
accomplished within 24-48 hours of notice.
