Cost Containment
“The David Corey Company‘s objective is to provide
housing services and home modifications that are
determined to be medically or functionally necessary,
and to do so in the most cost efficient manner
without compromising the integrity of the project,
the rights of the injured worker, without expecting
the contractor to complete the work for less than
what is reasonable for their services or expecting the
carrier to pay a cost greater than what is reasonable for
the project.”
Client
Although the injured worker is the ultimate beneficiary of our services, the carrier is our
client. Ultimately whoever assigns us the claim, becomes our direct report.
ADA / Universal Design
While the David Corey Company recognizes the
purpose and importance of the Americans with
Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG)
and the principles of Universal Design, we do not
view either as the absolute standard for home
modifications. Rather, we view the ADA as a
starting point and each home modification project
is designed around the individual’s specific
“Did you know that the ADA doesn’t
apply to personal residential abilities and the collaborative and appropriate
homes? outcome objectives provided by the carrier. The
David Corey Company believes the environment

than forcing the individual to fit within the
modified environment. It’s about fairness to all parties.
