3.  A  student  who  incurs  absences  (excused  and  unexcused)  equivalent  to  20
               percent  of  the  total  number  of  school  days  will  be  dropped  from  the  roll
               pursuant to the Department of Education (DepEd) policy.
        DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE AND DUE PROCESS

            1.  A written incident report must be submitted by any victim or any witness to
               the offense/ violation to the Office of the Head of Discipline.
            2.  Parents or guardian of both the alleged victim and alleged offender will be
               informed by their Homeroom Adviser through text message or a phone call
               immediately.
            3.  The Head of Discipline and the concerned Deputy Principal investigate the
               incident/ case through an interview/ a conference to ascertain the facts so that
               appropriate actions can be taken.
            4.  Immediate  inquiry  with  the  student/s  concerned  –the  alleged  victim,  other
               witnesses to the incident, and the alleged offender/s will be conducted.
            5.  The Discipline Board deliberates on the incident and/ or the corresponding
               sanction and corrective measure for the student/s.
            6.  The  Deputy  Principal  and  the  Head  of  Discipline  will  meet  the  parents/
               guardian for the recommendation and/ or corrective measures and sanctions.
            7.  In  case  of  an  appeal,  the  Principal  convenes  the  Academic  Council  and
               deliberates on the merits of the appeal. The Principal will meet the parents to
               inform them of the results of the appeal.

        In case where a penalty is imposed on the offender in compliance with DepEd Order
        #40, s. 2012 on Child Protection Policy, the following procedures will be observed:

            a)  The student and the parents or guardian shall be informed of the complaint in
               writing;
            b)  The student shall be given the opportunity to answer the complaint in writing,
               with the assistance of the parents or guardian;
            c)  The decision of the school head shall be in writing, stating the facts and the
               reasons for the decision, and;
            d)  The decision of the school head may be appealed to the Division Office, as
               provided in the existing rules of the Department.
