TYPES OF OFFENSES AND SANCTIONS MAJOR OFFENSE

These are acts which degrades the dignity of an individual and/or the other members of
the school community. The following offenses/ infractions fall under this category:

1.1 AUTHORITIES AND PEERS
1.1.1. Blatant disrespect to, defiance of, or assault on school authorities, including
refusal or failure to submit to safety measures such as search and seizure
procedures

1.1.2. Getting involved in libelous act, and/ or character assassination in any form
or any social media platform, damaging the integrity of another student, a
teacher, or any member of the school community

1.1.3. Willfully inflicting physical harm/ injuries upon another student, a teacher, or
any member of the school community within the campus or any place where
school sanctioned activities are being held

1.1.4. Other such acts analogous to the aforementioned, which may be determined
by the school authorities.

1.2 PROPERTY AND ENVIRONMENT

1.2.1. Vandalism such as writing and/ or leaving a permanent mark on school
properties like tables, chairs, books, shelves, doors, fire extinguishers, fire
alarms, speakers, clocks, official posters/ announcements, or bulletin boards

1.2.2. Destroying/ defacing school properties like the tables, chair, shelves, fire
extinguishers, fire alarm, equipment in the computer laboratory, Science
laboratory, playing with and/ or disconnecting the LAN connection and other
electrical connections inside the computer laboratory, classrooms, offices and
Science laboratory, and bulletin boards

1.3 SCHOOL POLICIES

1.3.1. Breach of school computing policy such as intentionally putting virus,
attacking the school server, and/ or using another person’s account
