Disability Coverage

Offered through USAble, Long Term Disability (LTD) is another benefit designed to provide financial security to you and your family.
LTD pays a percentage of your monthly salary if you are out of work due to an illness or injury if your disability continues for an
extended period of time. Full time employees who work more than 30 hours a week are eligible for this benefit. This benefit is paid
for by the school.

Temporary Disability benefits are mandated by the state of New Jersey, but are provided through Wesco Insurance Company. These
benefits are designed to provide a weekly benefit if you are out of work for more than 2 weeks due to injury or illness. Please note:
Effective 7/1/2020, the NJ TDB benefit and weekly maximum is changing.
