Parental Leave
New Relic encourages you to spend time with new children coming
into your family! Toward that end, we provide paid Parental Leave
that can be taken with the birth or adoption of a child.
New Relic's Parental Leave pays 100% of your pay for 12 weeks, to
be taken within twelve months of the birth or adoption. Parental New parents are also eligible to receive a special new

Parental Leave payments are coordinated with government
programs such as State Disability Insurance and Paid Family
Leave, when those are available, as well as Short-Term Disability
administered through our insurance carrier. You will need to apply
for such benefits, if available, to receive New Relic Parental Leave.
We have partnered with The Larkin Company to help
facilitate the Leave process for you. PeopleOps will
initiate contact on your behalf or you can reach out to
newrelic@thelarkincompany.com.
Use of Parental Leave requires the written authorization of your
management and PeopleOps, which should be completed at least
two weeks prior to start of the leave (where possible!).
Additional leave benefits are available by law to birthing mothers
and, in some states, to non-birthing new parents. Details of those
benefits will be discussed with you by your leave administrator
from The Larkin Company. PeopleOps is ready to help you make
use of the many programs available.
