Troubleshooting
10.3. Monitor Errors
Problems with the monitor may manifest in multiple ways; perhaps a function like a
single-shot measurement is failing, or perhaps the data being downloaded makes it appear
that the monitor is not Archiving properly. In any case, these types of problems are monitor
specific; refer to the User Manual for the monitor for troubleshooting instructions.
10.4. Application Errors
Application errors can manifest in multiple ways, but usually don’t involve a monitor
directly; for example, getting an error when trying to add sensors to the database. If any
unexpected problem occurs that does not have an obvious solution, you will need to contact

• Contact data (name, e-mail address, telephone number)
• Software versions; this is seen in the Home > Help tab
• Symptoms; include screenshots where possible
• The IID database
• A copy of the information collected from the ‘Application Error’ link.
• On-site troubleshooting results
If the problem includes monitor issues, then also include:
• The type and serial number of the monitor
• Any diagnostic information from the monitor
