Troubleshooting



              10.  Troubleshooting


                          When  an  error  occurs  in  IAM,  a  basic  report  of  the  error  will  be  produced  by  the
                       application.  Additionally, an ‘Application Error’ link will appear in the main IAM application;
                       clicking on this link will open a dialog that allows you to copy the error information so that it
                       can be sent to Iris Power LP; press the ‘Copy information to Clipboard’ button and then
                       paste this into an email to be sent to Iris Power LP.

                          Most of the time, if a problem cannot be fixed by an obvious solution (for example, if
                       failing to communicate using USB then check the USB connection) then assistance from Iris
                       Power LP Technical Support is needed (refer to  Section 10.5 for contact details).  This
                       section lists the basic troubleshooting that can be performed.
