2. Databases

The first time that IAM is launched, a database will need to be created if there is no
existing data from a different Iris Power LP application to incorporate into IAM; alternatively
if there is an existing database that has been used to collect data from other Iris Power LP
instruments, it needs to be opened.

Note:
Whenever possible try to use a single database in one location; if
there are multiple databases or multiple copies of one database then
it is easy for them to get out of sync which can cause confusion.
