4.4. SM Measurement Archive
The GuardII+ can store up to 2 years of measurement data; this storage is referred to as
the Archive. GuardII+ SM monitoring uses an analysis algorithm to decide when
measurement data should be saved in the Archive.
The Archive stores the following data every day.
• The measurement that had the largest peak value for each enabled input.
• The measurement taken after the first peak of the day.
• Each measurement contains data from each enabled input.
NOTE:
If a measurement satisfies multiple Archiving conditions (for example, it
has the peak value for 2 inputs), it is only saved once.
4.4.1. Archive Example #1
A monitor is configured to have the G1 and TV inputs enabled. Suppose that the following
occurs:
• The monitor is turned on at 9:15 am; data will be first collected every 30 minutes
starting at 9:30 am.
• The peak value for the G1 input occurs at 1:00 pm.
• The peak value for the TV input occurs at 10:00 pm.
The Archive for this day will contain the following measurements:
• The measurement collected at 1:00 pm (the measurement with the peak G1 value).
• The measurement collected at 1:30 pm (the measurement after the first peak of the
day).
• The measurement collected at 10:00 pm (the measurement with the peak TV value).
4.4.2. Archive Example #2
A monitor is configured to have the all inputs enabled. Suppose that the following occurs:
• The monitor has been running all day without interruption; data will be first collected
every 30 minutes starting at 12:00 am.
