PANDEMIC VIRUSES
“The Characteristics Of Viruses”
There’s no denying it. The novel coronavirus has
turned the world upside down. Sports, entertainment,
school, extra-curricula and work— All Canceled! Much of
the world has been frightened into a tail-spin. Planet Earth
reached a near standstill.
What I am feeling while writing this book must be
what the late, great writer, Orson Wells must have felt
when he set out to write the novel “1984.” No, greatness
isn’t what I am referring to. I’m sure anyone could have
written my book. It didn’t necessarily have to be me. But,
what I’m talking about is the hesitation you feel when
writing significantly about the future.
