Understanding child development and the continuum of individual differences
between many different five year olds, for instance
An interest in gaining an understanding of the child beyond the legal questions
driven by systems and parents
Use the language of the child vs. paraphrasing into your adult language
Bring the authentic concerns forward into the Child and Youth Concerns Scale.
Create meaning that is important to the child and provide the information to the
