SCRIPT
This is our room to do some special activities together. As you can see we have
some art making and play activities here. I have an idea for us for each of our
times together and then, if there is time, you can choose something you would like
to do.
As you can see – there are two houses here (pull them out). We also have a lot of
characters and animals and other objects over here. You know I don’t know a lot
about what you do at your two houses so… this is going to be a guessing game. You
can pick out some characters or animals to use to make a scene of you doing
something at your dad’s and you doing something at your mum’s. You can use
anything you want and it can be something you do in your house or outside of your
house – like backyard or a trip or any outdoor activity. You have to pick a character
to be you. You can include your pets if you have a pet.
The trick/game is – don’t tell me who is who or which scene is with mum and which
is with dad… I will just guess and see how many people I get right and see if I can
guess what you are doing with each parent. You can make it hard for me if you
want… like (and show them how to use an object to represent a family member) a
polar bear to be mum or a king to be dad etc. So you make the two scenes and
when you are done – I will guess.
